Mary Shelley was a fascinating woman. I just finished reading Romantic Outlaws, a biography about Shelley and her mother, Mary Wollstonecraft (huge feminist before anyone even knew what that word meant)…both extremely intelligent, deeply feeling, slightly tragic women who shaped the course of both feminism & literature.
